On Sunday of the weekend just past it was all very Mediterranean at Château Rabbitz (or should that be Château Lapinz?).

Spent the early part of the day pruning grapevines, followed but pruning the big old mature olive trees.

A fire was lit in a fireplace in the orchard and flat breads filled with cheese spinach and lamb were cooked (gozleme style) for lunch. Served with a bottle of rosé.

More pruning. Then the fire was stoked up for relaxed afternoon in the sun.

A chicken and rice dish was then prepared in a camp oven for dinner.

Now here is the best bit. My wife decided, she would do the camp oven dish!  First time cooking in a camp oven!

Came up a treat.

(The camp oven image is while it was being pre-heated not the actual cooking!)
