Just bit the bullet and booked a fare on the Spirit Of Tasmania for us and the Motorhome departing Geelong 1 September next year for Tassie.  No return ticket yet as can only book 11 months in advance.  Told Maggie we might stay for Christmas.  Will also be there for my birthday and our 15 year wedding anniversary. Cheesy

Gotta get in early.   Smiley

Hey Kev, last time we went they joined us up to what they call the “Sailors Club”.  One of the benefits is a discount if you book during the month of your birthday.  Was roughly $50 off.   Cheesy

Due to what is happening in the world and the fuel situation we have made a decision to delay our Tassie trip this year.

Can't say I blame you. I seen where the Spirit added a fuel levy & thought of you straight away.

Started checking everything over today.  Heading off next week to Hervey Bay.  Just a short trip for a week.

Have booked a site in the newly revamped Pialba Caravan Park.  It is now dog friendly and we will have a waterfront site as in the photo.

What are they charging a night at Pialba?
I've been looking around at various park on water and most are  $70 and more.
