I may just have to try this in my own variation.  I use that flatbread recipe for pizza base and naan bread already.  Never thought of jaffles.

This sounds promising.  Forget the rum and wattleseed and replace the Davidson plum with cinnamon and replace the muscovado sugar with brown sugar,

This could be my new breakfast/brunch dish.   Cool

I can't say that oats in a jaffle sounds appealing to me, it feels like it would easily become quite stodgy.

However the rum and banana does give it some redeeming qualities (especially the rum) Smiley

Sadly, the recipe is behind a paywall.
