And to top it off the cosmetic surgeon result from today re the sun cancer after 2 months nose has still a very long way before it is  healed. due to the size of the sun cancer he took out he wants me to wear hat and mask very time when I go out in the sun and see me in 2 months

Need you to heal fast Kevvie and get back to the shed. Those wooden stirrers that you were making are the bees knees, Pretty sure you gave me a couple at ALstonville COG and I bought a another.....or the other way around. I'm down to one now , some bugger liked one and it went missing, another I gave to my Mum, The remaining one is looking very worn, but that's because it gets used and used some more. I dont leave home without it if I intend cooking.  They really are the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to stirrers.
If you've got any spares laying around let me know and Ill buy them from you.
If not I guess I'll just have to wait.

You need to set up a for sale post Kev and sell a few.  I am sure there are people other than Rory who would grab some.  I find those square shaped ones are really good for use in a camp oven

Hi Derek
thanks for the idea.
the village as a craft day each year but the last few years I have not been able to move around. so I could not attend but I had made a lot of different shapes and size stirrers scrapers and spatulas and also cutting and serving boards over the years. But last year with the help of a friend in the village I went to the craft market and a great morning selling but mostly giving away my wares
I also get people in the village are always looking for a present for friends or family.
One funny thing I sold were stirrers which are long enough
to stir cooking pots to make jam

I use one of yours when stirring jam.  Nothing worse than hot bubbles of sugar hitting your hands.

Hi Robert
Glad you enjoy using them
It is amazing how long the  hand made stirrers have lasted
I have since made a lot of different ones. At a recent craft day I had made a lot of them selling for 2 dollars each one lady bought 6 of the different types I had made

This is the one that I have and like so much.
If you have any the same shape and length as this
I'm happy to buy 4 or 5 of them at proper market value.
Even a bit bigger/ longer would be great if available.

Kevvie,

I would be interested in three of the flat ones with the slight angle on the end that were about 400mm long.
