Those were the days.  Cooking on stage indoors at the Brisbane 4X4 Show with my camp ovens.

I would say that looking at the table with the baby 5 inch camp oven I would have been cooking individual sticky date puddings in the main oven and a butterscotch sauce to go with them in the baby one.

For me it was all about teaching folks that with the right heat control you can cook anything in a camp oven.

I recall having a ‘disagreement’ with a Workplace Health & Safety Officer on that occasion because I didn’t have a fire extinguisher at hand.

The bloke beside me co-hosting was Wes Denning from the popular TV Show Totally Wild.
