What a lovely lunch date we had yesterday.

Fifteen years ago, on Maggie’s birthday, we first went to Georges Paragon up on Mt Tamborine for lunch.  Later that same day I asked Maggie to marry me.

Yesterday was a return trip as we have done many times and it couldn’t have been a better day even though it rained.  The seafood as always was terrific.  Maggie had the seafood marinara pasta and I had the Skandali which was a slab of grilled barramundi covered in prawns in a creamy garlic and cognac sauce.

The only thing missing was George himself who passed away several years back.

I said to Maggie on the way home we should do this at least once every month.  Smiley
