Hi, I’m renewing camp oven cooking, after not using my oven for several years … I’ve got a pickled pork I want to smoke /slow cook….iron bark “bark” that I’ve soaked for a week ….
Any advice appreciated, Tom

G’day and welcome to the forum.

Not sure how you can smoke pickled pork in a camp oven.

People do smoke by putting dry sawdust in the base of the camp oven however pickled pork releases a huge amount of moisture and that would soon dampen any sawdust.

I do like a slow baked pickled pork however not sure how to go about smoking it at the same time.
