Hi.
It a bite unsetting news.
Saw the blood doctor Grin

yesterday the result of my lumber puncher test I have chronic Myelomonocytic leukemia
also known as CMML which is very rare cancer and untreatable It. will be monitored with a blood test every 6 six week. the cancer has caused my weight to decease now down to 82 kg and had no appetite It also causes a over production of white blood cells in the bone marrow.

Not great news Kev, Cancer is a bugger. A good friend of mine was diagnosed 2 years ago, given six weeks, Two years later he's in remission and mowing lawns , doing all of the things he did pre being told.
His is some sort of blood related cancer , effects bone marrow and such like yours. I forget the exact name right now.
He told me that there are over 80 different types just within the sort that he has.

Yes I am going OK went to GP yesterday I will be 75 this month so had test for medical certificate. GP is letting me drive. for the 26/2period. Transport Dept has reduced me down to a car linense only
re the chronic Myelomoncytic leukaemia (CMML)as there is no treatment we will just plod along and see how we go loosing weight still down to 82kgs yesterday.

UP DATE
went to GP today the rapid weight decline appears have stopped (For the time being)I had a weight increase of 1.3 kgs. Cheesy

that sounds not much. but I went from 105 kgs to 82 kgs in about 8 weeks it was a worry for the GP. GP said the weight gain is one less thing for me to worry about As I have a few ailments being treated
To do blood tests early next month for the Rheumatologist and the haematologist (The blood man)
