For quite some time now we have had a pigeon problem under our solar panels.  Shite everywhere and the noise has been intolerable.

A while back I bought a trap but between our house and the neighbour I think they have been breeding quicker than I can catch them and after the first few days they soon grew wary of trap.

I bought a pigeon proofing kit of VEVOR that consisted of 50 metres of stainless plastic coated mesh and all the clips for installing.

Today I woke early feeling enthusiastic and said to Maggie, you will hear me on the roof.

I diverted the downpipes away from the tanks, grabbed the pressure cleaner and up I went.  Buckets and buckets of bird shite came down.

Also govt the panels a clean while I had the water going.

Left it to dry a bit then went around and installed the mesh.  It looks good, here’s hoping it works.   Smiley

Pigeon taste good but know what you mean about the mess. Lucky we do not have them here.
Will have our panels cleaned soon as I can no longer go up a ladder safely.

You know it started with one pair on the neighbours roof and over the last year has multiplied to 50 or 60 of them.

It is nice just on dusk here to sit and not hear them jostling for position.  They make an awful racket on the tin roof.  Smiley
