Decided to make my own from a recipe I pulled off the internet.  Recipe makes 2 medium jars.

Ingredients
• 250 grams dry figs, stems removed and chopped
• 250 grams pitted dates (Medjool or regular), chopped
• 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
• 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
• 1/2 tsp salt

Method
Soak the dates chopped dates and figs in water overnight.

All ingredients in a pan and onto medium head stirring to ensure sugar dissolves.  Bring to a slow simmer for 1 hour.

Very simple recipe.  Now marturing for a couple of weeks.

After typing this out I realise I left the chilli out.  Roll Eyes
