I'll be going, was going to take the old man but he's too crook, he's done his fair share of camp oven cooking over the 50 years he's been working, he would have got a buzz out of it, would have been trying to stick his 10 cents worth in I'd say.

We'll be there for a week camped at the Showgrounds with about 14 other Kedron vans. It will be our first time (apart from stumbling across a camp oven cook off at Blinman in SA last year) so we are looking forward to it.

I prefer to camp at an off site Caravan Park in Millmerran, the showgounds facilitities are not up to the thousands of people who attend. But the breaky at the Poets breakfast is good!
