Post by BILLYBUSHCOOK on Oct 16th, 2007 at 9:53am
Ingredients:

Short Crust Pastry (Sweet)
Fresh mullberries
The juice of 1/2 lemon
1-2 tblsp cornflour
1-2 tblsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
(some slices of apple can be added as well)

Line your pie tin with pastry.
mix all other ingredients in a bowl,
fill pie with mixture & cover with top layer of pastry.

cook in a hot C/O for about 30-40 Mins, or untill browned & pastry has left the sides of the tin.
serve with ice cream (see post below for a simple way of making ice cream in the bush)

Derek,
White wings packet job!!!!!! ;)

I have done a few using flour, butter & lard but the packet stuff is so much easier (especially when camping) & yields a good result every time, all I do is add sugar to sweeten it up a bit.

As for the supply of Mulberries, The neighbour has the tree so I just give his kids a home brew tin each & they get $2/tin full- easy!!

We mend our clothes, we mend our clothes.
This is the way we mend our clothes,
So early Thursday morning.

This is the way we sweep the house,
We sweep the house, we sweep the house.
This is the way we sweep the house,
So early Friday morning.

This is the way we bake our bread,
We bake our bread, we bake our bread.
