A few friends around for a back yard barbie, its a bit of cop out, when we cant go bush usually because of wife & kid comitments we just bring the bush home to us! she still moans about the mess in the yard even though I use 1/2 44 gallon drums, but she doesnt moan about the food!!!!!!!
next door has a big mullberry tree, in summer it makes for great camp oven mullberry pie.
Myself & two mates have made it a fortnightly ritual, with 10 ovens between us there is always plenty to go around.
I did a shoulder of venison the other day, I had never eaten it before let alone cooked it but I nailed it, spot on.

keep cook'n, Mick.

Hi Mick

Great to see you here. Look forward to your input.  Are you planning to head for the National Camp Oven Festival at Casino in October.
