While in the New England last week I came upon a very well made Chinese 15" C/O in a little hard ware store..very smooth finish in side and out and 60mm legs some thing you don't see on some of the Chinese made ones.. stamped under the lid is 099 the only markings... the lady in the store said she has had it for many years..so fifty bucks later and I had it.

Mate that's a lot of rain! It can get depressing if it lasts for too long although others in Oz would love that amount. Then again others like Sooty would probably hate it.
I reckon that oven is going to be a beaut Muzz! not at all like the common ones we see in the shops!
Good luck & give us a look when you get the seasoning done!

Could be the same breed as my 15"er Muzz, it is not the same as most you see in the camping stores, yours looks like it has a large handle on the lid like mine, I can fit 3-4 fingers through it!
and a fair bit of taper up the sides.
Does it have a single or double bail???
(take no notice of the little bend or dimple in the bail, I do that to all my ovens)

Single bail only...the lid handle I can only get two fingers through..
holding a square on the bench and up against the side of the oven....from top to bottom there is a 25mm pitch.... does yours have legs?
