Hi Kemo Sabe's,
I have wanted to make some Chicken Soup for a while now and today got my chance. I brewed it up in my Potjie and it was an enjoyable experience to make and eat. Here is some happy snaps.

I had some frozen Chicken stock in the freezer so in it went. Use supermarket stock if you want (2 packs)
1X large onion diced
4 X Carrots in rings.
5 X Stalks of Celery chopped.
2 X Pkts Chicken Noodle Soup (Dry)
Season with pepper (Do not add any extra salt) the dry soup has enough.
When carrots are cooked through add the chopped meat from a BBQ chicken( no skin), I used one from Coles.
Then heat through. Too easy and very tasty

Only gently simmer,no need to boil.
Served with fresh french bread & butter.
That'll do me troops!

All the best

Has anyone noticed how hard it is to buy chicken carcasses,or bacon bones at the moment, I think a lot of people are in the soup mode. I went to make some more chicken soup and I couldn't even but some celery from Woolies.

Oh well there's always the weekend!

I don't bother with the canned muck.

All the best

Sure looks good Skip, funny how something relatively simple like Chicken Soup just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  The MOTH makes it here from scratch, I will suggest adding the noodles.
