Hahahahahaha.  The use of language and it's translation into English.

When I was working for the UN in Kosovo I had a number of young people translating for me.  One night I took them out to dinner and the discussion got around to things that you really like.

I pretty well grew up on a farm and I remember one of the greatest things to me was waking in the morning to the sound of a rooster crowing.  I still like it.

Well I explained this to them and was met with blank looks.

Their language (Kosova Albanian) didn't seem to have a word for Rooster or Cockerel so after much discussion one of the faces at the table lit up and with a beaming smile he said, "I know, its the chickens husband"   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
