Hello all
I am new to the CO and am hoping to do a bit of cooking on a trip I have planned to inland Australia in a couple of months.  Haven't actually bought a CO yet but will be soon.  Looking forward to the whole experience.

Be careful Peter, buying your first CO often leads to catching a disease called Ferronic Fixation Disorder. Anyone here will tell you how this makes you incapable of making rational decisions when around camp ovens. Driving many kilometres out of your way on the off chance of buying a second hand oven and going vast distances interstate to Camp Oven Cooking Festivals, be warned.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Hi Peter, keep the questions coming lots of experienced CO Cooks in here to help those of us on our "L's" or "P's".

Welcome Peter,

PD is on the money there. If you only buy one CO for your trip, I woudn't mind betting that you'll have more than one when you return. Thats only the beginning. Good luck

Cheers
