I cooked one once that seemed to take for ever to cook ...couldn't work out why, at the time i thought the pudding batter looked a little on the runny side before I began cooking it. Turns out a certain member here and one of his offsiders had mixed about 500mls of extra ingredient into it while my back was turned "Rum". It did cook in the end and was fairly moreish.

I seem to remember the campfire stories about that one. I omitted the alcohohol on this one. Basically because I didn’t have any. Undecided

Mother’s Day today. Cooked our favourite pudding. Using the original recipe however substituted the Kahlua for 6 tablespoons of Baileys Irish Cream and just a tad less milk.

Cooked in the oven at home and turned out to be the lightest spongiest chocolate pudding I have ever cooked.

Well worth cooking this one.
