Serves 4

6 sausages
6 rashers of bacon
4 large tomatoes, or a tin of tomatoes
4 large potatoes. sliced
1 onion
3 stock cubes

METHOD:

Fry the sausages, bacon and onion in a pan until brown.

Cover with water, and add the sliced potatoes.

Simmer.

After about 10 minutes, add the tomatoes and sprinkle the stock cubes all over.

Let it simmer.

Joe Grey should be served as a runny stew, with crusty bread and butter.

Enjoy...Willy

So do I Willy.
The best bit is dunking the buttered crusty bread into the gravy and slopping it up from the bowl..
Preferably in winter of course.

Good stew....yes, but you can keep your snowy frosty days over that side of the pond mate, anything below 15C is bloody cold!!! Grin Grin Grin
we are gettin ready for the warm weather to come again here at the moment.
Bring on the 40+ degree days, time to fish & drink!!!!! (water of course Grin)

I don't mind them temp around zero... as long as the fire is warm and the rum/whisky is in good supply..
Good company goes a long way too.
