No sandies mate, the breeze was spot on until about 3am then a few mozzies turned up. I reckon they would carry you away if it was still. I got a mozzie stuck right up in my ear . It was in there for about 15 minutes, All I could come up with was to shine the torch in my ear hoping it would come out to the light. Grin Grin and it did.

I'm off to Cape Palmerston again tomorrow lunch. Hopefully to catch a heap of crabs for Christmas. (I already have the crab pot bait packed this time Embarrassed Embarrassed).

The weather is looking spot on and no fire bans in place. So will have to throw an oven or 2 on the coals.
