Folks an item for those that may delve into the obscure CI appliances.

A Jingisukan (Genghis Khan), (I want one but I don't have one) is a round cast iron fry/grill plate, they are raised in the middle to form a conical type design, this allows meats or veg which is marinated to cook while draining the fluids away so they food doesn't stew.

I have been trying to get a second hand one for a while, I will not buy new as there is no adventure in that, appreciate anyone coming across one letting me know so I could buy it or buy it from you.
I am not interested in the newer alluminium interpretations.

One could ALMOST bite the proverbial and hook into a modern lid with an angle grinder...

Get rid of the handle and I reckon you might have a fair resemblance of the plate your looking for.  (It will have the advantage of being cast)

Think Billmans maybe.... Wink

After some more reading about a Mongolian BBQ, that would have to be a bluddy big lid..... Shocked    Went to a Mongolian Restaurant in 1985 and can remember the Chef walking around this massive cooking plate.  Not many now....

My mother-in-law fell down a wishing well, I was amazed.       I never knew they worked.
