I went to a function a while ago when these were used to cook.

The meat product was delightful, and the temp control seemed ot be brilliant.

I asked the price and nearly choked (so it was expensive).

I then saw them at the "Gardening Australia" show, and fell in love with them, but still cannot afford one right now.  Maybe after we do the bathroom, and build the cooking area, and put the shed up.

A furphy, is Australian slang for a rumour, or an erroneous or improbable story.  You would never get anything but the plain honest dinky-di truth here... I promise!!!!  Yup, hand on my heart, promise, true blue, uh-huh true dinks, dead set!!

The Kamado distributor had a punt and put one on eBay for 99c starting bid, I am watching and bidding! Now at $625.00  so probably shot myself in the foot as they say to put this here..........

btw I visted Barbecues Galore today and did some fishing about their Green Egg display item, salesman said it was as good as the original Kamado Cookers.............

The Kamado folks have some interesting comparisons with the green egg

I bid on one on eBay recently, finished last night, to $840.
A darn good buy.

This is a waste of time scam, the seller is dummy bidding according to Kamado Cookers Australia.
