I went to the Swap Meet at Crookwell (NSW) last weekend in the never ending search for old cast iron camp ovens and have to report that there was absobloodylutely nothing there.

Out of bed in the cold and wet and ready when  the gates opened at 6.00 am but it was a case of all pain and no gain, the only ovens I saw were a couple of Taiwanese DOs and they were gone on my second time around making sure I hadn't missed anything on the first sweep.

BTW I was't the only one from this site down there searching, I met up with two others also on the lookout for any stray COs.... the early bird.......

C'mon Michael, that's like asking a women her age, lol, I stopped counting a long while ago.
I've become very selective now and only buy old Australian and that's a very limited market but now you ask I did get a lovely Albion in VG condition the other day.
I spoke to a bloke at Crookwell who collects hammers, he said he has over 5,000 and reckons that if you don't add to your collection at least once a week you're a hoarder not a collector.

Me thinks a better hobby than golf, consider the distance covered over a life time of playing golf, what do you have in the end, no financial gain, years of frustration, constant expense.
