JC, what an interesting idea. extend the celebrations. And as it is I've got to go get eggs so as to make the carrot cake. Carrot cake has been my BDay cake for ages. Mine's rich, lots of nutrition , but right full of sweetness too. Then by waiting for BDay, I have carrot cake in the freezer until about March.

Re. you're starting the year ahead of us. Right you are. I'm in the time zone of Canada 2nd closest to Oz, 13 hours behind you right now. 15.5 hours until my midnight.

& Mick, my parents used to pretend to be Xmas shopping while actually combining that with BDay shopping. Without words they got to be very very good at getting me an extra special BDay present that I wanted big time.
