My Volcano has left San Fran.   The planes are flying in today at a rate of knots I am just excited that maybe my new toy is on one of them.   Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

Its a pity my UDO14 is on back order, its just one of those things, I have a few  Wink  Wink  Wink recipes I want to try using both toys.

Great day here to enjoy the outdoors and a swim.

Mine did! And cleared Australian customs in 13 minutes.
Clever stuff this electronic tracking.
While I am here, compliments to the Moderator on a tidy up with the topics. Is much neater.

I had a look at this but not sure what heat source is used for the conical centre vent, is it put over hot coals? What is Red Hatter planning to use it on?  See:

Also tempted, this looks like a "must have".
Post cost will be interesting.

Cabela's do not offer this item in their Camp Chef section:

Julie who is a member of this forum has offered to post it to members on another thread David http://rvingoutpost.com/.  Contact her for cost details.

ncdodave posted a steamed pork bun recipe on the IDOS Forum http://forums.idos.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24 which I had a go at but found it slow doing one layer at a time and he said he used the UDO14 for making the steamed buns with two layers at a time.  This started me on the "must have" idea.  Many many emails failed to get me one but Julie has come to my aid and offered me and any others on the forum this oven.

It can be used exactly the same with heat beads, coals, or gas for a quicker result due to the centre bit.  The larger version is for turkeys cooked from the inside and outside at the same time.

Bundt cakes also are suitable.

As always your imagination is your limit.  One of the first things I will try is cheese triangles.  Yes these could be done in any camp oven but two layers at a time makes sense to me.

As they say "the proof will be in the pudding"!!!
