i found this along time ago
need 1 elec oven dont need hot plates
you can connect oven to normal 3 pin plug
cut hole in back of oven about 1" to put elbow
in for flue ; can be bigger & needs dampner
then use oven nob as thermostat you only need
60 to 150 deg for smoking ; put chips, sawdust
in bowl in bottom of oven ; this works well because
the oven is enamel & you have racks to put things on
& besides you can pick up oven cheap ; if not sure about
3 pin plug ask elecy; you can also drill hole in oven
to put thermostat
