HI all
The beautiful wife Vina and myself are going camping at 1770 in exactly 11 weeks time not that I am counting but this being our first camp trip this year we are a little excited.

I have a question we were there two years ago just for a look and thought this would be a nice place to camp right on the river bank we have booked a waterfront site  any closer we would be in the water great. I am wondering if there would be sandfrlies there in the middle of winter does anybody have any thoughts?

When I first saw 1770 way back in 1973 there were heaps of sandflies then.
happy cooking

Just make sure you are prepared for Sandflies all the time the suckers there are ravenous. When about they are about as thick as I have ever seen anywhere. (Be warned) make sure you have plenty of repellent and replace it regularly.

Great place to visit though, and super fishing.
