We have just spent a week away.  We were at Lake Conjola which we love as Sparky has easy access for the Hobie and usually manages to catch a fish or two.

We then had the weekend at Callala Beach.  This might be a good site for a COG one day.  Its a large grassy area with a good sized push button toilet block and drinking water.  There was a large fire pit available for use.  No Showers though.

Apparently more and more groups are using it.  Its access is off the car park of the Callala Beach RSL and the only requirement seems to be that the group is of at least 20 campers as the local park couldnt accommodate that many.  Like Thora we made a donation to the Club but no formal charge.

We were told to bring our own wood but with the winds prior they had swept up the fallen branches into stacks and we used them.

I put a few pictures on my blog.
