Another thing I haven't cooked, but will give it a go and hopefully you can teach me how to fold

the tops on the cornish pasties if you make it to the Towitta Cog.

Did you know that traditional Cornish Pasties sometimes had one end filled with the traditional mix of meat and veg and the other end filled with sweets like apple.
Be bloody be awful if you squirt the sauce in the wrong end.

They also had a big knob of pastry on the end that the coal miners used to hold with their dirty coal covered hands to eat them. The pastry knob was discarded

Yes but I never discard the knob of pastry. I eat all of it.
