Camp Oven Chicken Vindaloo Curry (Read 14599 times)

Ingredients
750 grams chicken thighs
¼ jar of Pataks Vindaloo Curry Paste
Large onion sliced
2 cups sweet potato
2 cups cauliflower florets
400 ml can diced tomato

Method
Dice chicken into bite size pieces and place all ingredients into the camp oven. Add additional water if insufficient gravy juices. Place on heat and cook for about one and a half hours. After one hour partly remove the lid from the camp oven to allow gravy to reduce to a nice consistency.

We did this and it was delish!
I wrote the recipe down wrong though... the results were rather 'interesting' Embarrassed

I put 1 jar of Pataks on the shopping list, then wrote 1 jar on the recipe as well...
The Dunny Dash was won by the last born, closely followed by Chief Cheesy

'Mr 18' has a cast iron stomach to go with my cast iron cooking - nothing fazes him! Cool

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!

hahaha...nah, the vindaloo was moons ago.

I've never yet had anyone get crook from a camp oven meal -
which is a miracle considering I wasn't always in a fit state for cooking 30 years ago Smiley
