Well for those willing to throw a sickie on Friday, next weekend is a four day long weekend  Cheesy

We are going to pack up the van and head off next Wednesday for a few days.  Son will be along with his new camper trailer.  Will be a great time camping with the three grandkids and our first time camping with them.

Heading for http://www.yarramalongcamping.com.au/

Will be my first opportunity to cook over a camp fire for for quite some time and really looking forward to it.

Anyone else heading off at all???

Not camping but we are heading to the Sunshine Coast Monday morning with our caravan for a week. I hope the weather stays reasonable. I hope you enjoy your time away with the family.

I have had a busy couple of weeks, especially since some of my interstate relatives arrived in WA and we've been trying to fit 18 years of gossip into a few hours!
Sunday is my niece's birthday and my last chance to see the family before they go back to Sth Oz.
Monday is tidy up house and garden (probably with massive hangover) ready for inspection on Tuesday, and on Wednesday I will be cooking up Anzac Biscuits for Rufzgutz's Challenge.

So by Thursday I could probably do with a few days R&R!
Might have to suggest another camping trip to Chief   Grin

We have the Friday off work so 4 relaxing days for us on or near the Murray River (SA).

Destination unknown at present, but the canadian canoe will be sneaking in the back window of our old Millard  Smiley Smiley

Will definately have the choofer/firebox cranking, just hoping that our weather stays good.

Which part of the glorious outdoor world will you be visiting Melissa?

I'm hoping to pitch the tent in a lovely little conservation park on the south coast of Western Australia, cussing at the possums at 3am no doubt  hehehe

We are camping on the edge of the Mighty Murray at my favourite SA caravan park,

Was meant to be camping not far away at katarapko creek nat park, but totally forgot the fire season ends 30 April. (only realised when we arrived at the park entrance)

Lucky you can have fires at nearby Loxton, even if it is just in my choofer.

Found another use for my campovens today. They replaced smoothzsilk as the front ballast in the front of my double canadian canoe  Cheesy Cheesy Smiley

Now thats another topic we should start. 101 uses for your campovens  Smiley

Hi folks I'm having a 2week break from SA and flying to sunshine coast, back on mothers day. Won't be a fun trip like you all are having as its more for family illness. Might have to cook something special for my old man in the oven.
