OMG you sure got a bewdeful shot of that creek - the golden glow on the bank reflecting in the water .... loverlee!!!

What brand is the oven with the X on the lid?  I am going to have to get castironitis just so I can acquire some interesting ovens...mine are sooo boring  hehehe

Everyone looks sooo relaxed and happy.  Isn't that just the most fantastic result.  You gotta be happy with that!

I have all his DVD's here. In fact when I first talked about making DVD's on camp oven cooking one of my daughters suggested I follow his style of doing things.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Thanks Timmo it's a naturally aspirated diesel and a good Ol' Truck. We decided to go back to one vehicle and needed a 4WD that was more economical. Tez & Bek bought it as their bush truck and in fact took it to Fraser Island the next weekend after our trip. That was the first time it had been on the beach in over eighteen years. Undecided It had been bush plenty but never on the beach.

Russell Coight was a great show. It was a real shame the politically correct brigade stepped in and as a result his movie was not as good as it could have been.

Thanks for that video link Derek. Grin

Tez has always threatened to show us his version of the famous Russell Coight duck dive but we always say we don't think we a quite ready for that one. Shocked Grin

Sorry I forgot to answer this earlier LG. The oven was my late dads. I'm not sure of the make or where it came from. This thread has a bit of info about them though. http://www.aussiecampovenforum.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1256645203
