Some people might think we are mad.

We have a perfectly lovely house with central heating sitting doing nothing while we are parked in the bush in a caravan where it is 1.7 degrees outside.

The wind is around 50 kilometres an hour and the forecast has it gusting to 100 kilometres an hour and it is streaming down with rain. Every gust of wind is shaking the van like anything.

But do you know what??? We are as happy as anything.

I can only agree with you Derek.  My hubbie and I are often told we are mad taking the van out in the middle of winter but we love winter camps.  If it gets too cold we go to bed!

What do you reckon Dave.  Your photo on the right.  Mine on the left.  Same place but the trees have grown a little.

Was a bit colder when we were there I think.

Lookout, incoming snowball.  She missed though. Grin Grin Grin Grin

Was 1 degree on the car outdoor thermometer.

Snowed on the Grampians in Victoria night before last and as we were only 45 klm away made a dash yesterday morning up there.

Here are a few pics.  We behaved like little kids and had a ball.

Today we made it to Bendigo.  They booked us onto the same site we had last year.

Here for the next four days for the Bendigo Wool & Sheep Festival

That looks great Derek but I'm sure the temp inside the Cruiser felt better than the outside temp.
