Some of the more experienced fellas on here can hopefully identify your oven. Going by the ear shape and the fine casting and domed lid I would say it is English or Scottish made but in saying that, not a Carron, Etna or Falkirk. Most of these ovens do have markings of the maker on them but can be very difficult to see. Have a close look over the oven and particularly on top of the lid and around the side of the base and you may find a marking. It's a shame the lid has that crack in it.

No, no markings on lid at all , I’ll give it a light wire brush when back home in a Sydney, the crack is only small a shouldn’t pose a problem , for $25 I’m not complaining

From overall appearance, I would put my money on it being a Metters.
Not all Metters had markings on the lid, I have one, family owned since the '50,s with "Metters 15" on the outside wall, nothing on the lid at all.
Good find anyway, a crack here and there does not affect them too much.
Finding them with 3 sound legs is more important from a purist point of view. Cool
