Hi there camp oven peeps,
I recently bought this Albatross branded camp oven in WA. It has 14IN on one side, and the Albatross on the other. There is no marking on the lid, and the lid is a very good fit. It has three short legs which look as if they have been cut down at some stage.
Does anyone have any history of the brand? I have seen a few pics on Google, but they are nothing like mine.
Cheers and have a good day.

We have never been able to find a lot of information about the Albatross.  They do pop up occasionally and a few members have managed to grab one over the years,

I recall that James in New Zealand did a lot of research when he managed to get one over there.

I think that at one stage it was suggested that they were possibly an old Scottish Oven or made in the Swains Foundry in the UK but nothing from memory was ever confirmed.

I not your logo is slightly different to some of the photos.

If you run a search as suggested by Brian in your last post you will find several posts on them here.
