I highly recommend this.

1 cup grated tasty cheese
3 cups SR flour
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 can warm beer
1 tbsp olive oil

Mix all the dry, cheese and olive oil
Then add the beer and mix till moist.
Spoon into an oiled loaf tin and bake in a preheated CO at 190C for about 45 mins
Cool for 5 mins before slicing.

Looks very nice Aart.  The recipe kind of reminds me of the Bungelboori Bread that is ginger and not cheese.

Had a couple of slices the following day.
Just a quick burst in the microwave and stopped with butter and curried egg.

Very nice.
