Over the past week or so I have been making soda bread some not bad and some just did not work.
This recipe is about as simple as one can get.
4 Cups plain flour
1 Teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1 3/4 cups butter milk
Mix all together and form a ball press down a little.
Cook in C/O for about 40 min.

That looks nice.  I have always thought that our Aussie damper recipes originated from the old Irish soda bread recipes

A good easy recipe to make and if you do not have butter milk easy to do with milk and lemon juice, just google.
