Went for my morning walk and heading down the back fence boundry notice that someone has been trimming all the trees along all the properties. Saw a young bloke and he explained they were surveying and had something to do with the reservoir across the road.

I had been eyeing off a grape vine which was spreading down the fence and over the ground. Asked if I could grab it and he was pleased as less he had to move.

So now we have to blanch and research best way to preserve vine leaf for a few feeds of Greek Dolmades. Cheers Robert

Ok ended up with 12 packs of enough to feed the two of us and 1 in the fridge for tomorrow night and 11 in the freezer.

Decided to vacuum seal and freeze as our best way, use in the next 6 months. If only wrapped in plastic then use in 3 months.

I planted two grape vines this year so next year may have a go at them myself.
