Forgot to take photos during the process only of the results.
Looking for something a bit different so when I was at Flagstaff Hill Food Land they had some nice leg of lamb on at the right price. Had the butcher cut it in 25 mm slices took it home and trimmed the excess fat off. Saved the fat to render or make sausages.

Found a nice osso bucco slow cook recipe and just went ahead.
Was very nice and will have some for lunch.

Also did chicken wings with a hot cajun rub and left overnight before crumbing and deep frying for lunch.

Would never have thought of doing that with a leg of lamb.  Well done.

Nice chicken nibblies as well.  Chicken wing prices have gone through the roof up here.

Getting expensive here as well Derek, when they are on special I normally buy and freeze. Check Aldi because their 2 kg packet are some times the cheapest around.

The lamb was falling of the bones and darn delicious that is for sure. Was a excellent sauce all on a Celeriac mash. Next time will stick to the old spuds. Cheers Robert

Cannot wait for our local Aldi to open.  They were starting to put the roof on yesterday.
