Our neighbours are selling up and moving. Maggie was over talking to them and brought back this brand new ceramic roasting dish that was unwanted.

I split this duck down the backbone and it is currently roasting away.

Well we had the duck with roasted potatoes and pumpkin, steamed swiss chard (silverbeet) and a rich orange sauce.

Oh, and because of my eccentricity my duck is always eaten with a nice glass of crisp Victorian King Valley Prosecco.

Forgot to take a photo straight out of the oven. Embarrassed

I love silver beet too. Always had it growing out the back in the garden. The meal looks very nice.
The roasting dish looks very good, even better it has handles
