These are the same recipe.  Each batch is 1 kilogram.

First one has 75 grms of cooked rice.  The second has no rice but red wine.  A nice merlot in fact.  You can see a slight red colour.

The third photo is the taste test.   Cheesy

Not my recipe however can find it online.

I am actually finding it easier than I thought it would be.  No failures so far.   Smiley

Just as an add on to this, I actually used supermarket beef mince.  It is listed on the pack as 82% beef and 18% fat which I thought close enough to their 80/20% in the recipe.

Seems to have turned out ok on the taste test.

Just keeping a few for ourselves and taking the rest to a family BBQ later today.

Big disappointment.

The actual flavour of these was fantastic however the casings were very rubbery.   Sad

From my searching around the internet it could be that I didn’t soak them enough and/or I didn’t fill them enough.

More research required.
