Occasionally I buy a loaf of olive bread from Woolies and really like the flavour.  I reckoned though that one day I would have a crack at it myself.

Well today was the day and this is the results.

Ingredients
300 grams flour (2 cups)
1 teaspoon bread improver
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon active dry yeast
Handful chopped Kalamata olives
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
250 ml (approx) warm water.

The method was basically the same as all my no knead recipes with the olives mixed into the dry ingredients.

We were quite surprised.  Both the first and second rise were excellent and the final taste amazing.

Another one to add to our camping list of breads.

Had a slice toasted for breakfast with scrambled egg on top.

Great flavours together.

Had to use up the half container of olives so made another olive bread this morning.  Turned out nicely and has a few more olives in it.
