Well the fridge has been picked up and he tells me it’s in pretty good nick.  Just got to wait until after holidays now.

As ‘Big Kev’ on the Gold Coast used to say many years ago, “I’m excited”.   Grin Grin Grin Grin

How good is this.  About half an hour ago the dogs started barking so went to the door and there was my son with the fridge on his trailer.

He said he thought he would bring it over because he hadn’t seen me so excited in ages.   Grin Grin Grin Grin

Fits into the space nicely.

Been running a few hours now turned on high.  Got my fridge thermometer out of the motorhome and put one sensor on the top shelf and one on the bottom.

Currently showing 0 degrees up top and 2 degrees on the bottom.

Have turned it down to 2 and will see what it reads in the morning.

Looks like it’s all good for $0.

Tomorrow will give it a good clean.  As you can see in the photo there is a bit of mould on the seal that has to go.

Hi Derek, Not sure what you clean your door seals with. When I had a servo, I had the local council’s fuel account,so dealt with the health inspector. I remember him saying to use vinegar or Metho to clean door seals. We were beekeeping at the same time & opened up our mobile extracting plant & it was black inside with mould. We used vinegar to clean it & never had another problem.

Thank you I first went to the US site and it converted to about $154, then found the Oz site. Is freight free. Been thinking of this for a while and researched all the beginning of last year but then the srgery started.

Have you settled on a humidifier yet? Was thinking first about the wine fridge but the back fridge is starting to show its age and would be better.

Cheers Robert
