Last year sometime I bought a sausage pricker off eBay. Yes, it came from China but mail drone there is generally quicker than from Perth to here.

It comes apart and consists of 8 sharp pins that fit into a wooden handle.

There are heaps of them on eBay.

I found out that you can buy these same ones however they are used for felting.

They have extremely fine points on them so only make very small holes in the skins.
